Appointment notice of Mr Gaétan Laprise to Vice-President of Technologies

Repentigny, May 28th, 2009

Denis Savard, CEO of Central Tax, is pleased to announce that on its May 15th session, the board of shareholders approved the appointment of Mr Gaétan Laprise to Vice-President of Technologies, effective May 28th, 2009.

Central Tax will benefit from Mr Laprise vast experience in managing complex technology driven projects. This promotion will perpetuate the tradition of rigorous project management and transparency towards the company’s customers and partners of the public and private sectors.

As Vice President of Technologies, Mr Laprise, who will report directly to the CEO, will be responsible for the development and evolution of technologies and, in the interim, of the operation of the company’s suite of solutions, including CT-Payment. He will also oversee the support centre and customer service.

Since 1985, Mr Laprise thrives in the IT sector where he had multiple successes in projects related to the financial industry. For instance, he was the technology architect at the Desjardins Group for the infrastructure and security implementation. Also, Mr Laprise was the leader of the successful implementation and roll out of Central Tax platform at Trois-Rivières, as well as the interfacing with the Telus Assyst platform, the PG Govern CityAccess platform and the National Bank TFE system.

I invite you to welcome M. Laprise in his new functions and support him so Central Tax can meet its most ambitious objectives and challenges towards servicing its customers and partners in Quebec and Canada.
